Sister of breast and lung cancer patient

Sheri Hendricks is one of the major reasons my sister is alive today.

After successfully battling triple negative breast cancer, my sister was informed a cancerous nodule was detected in her lung. It was misdiagnosed as a metastasis – Stage IV breast cancer. Literally hours before she was to begin a highly debilitating chemotherapy regimen, Sheri coached me through the reasoning and process of getting a second opinion. Sheri not only had the latest scientific and clinical information, but she beautifully guided our entire family through the emotional turmoil and confusion of a stage IV diagnosis.

After the second opinion suggested it might be early lung cancer, we made the decision to surgically remove the lung nodule. My sister is now completely in remission and living life to the fullest.

Sheri is calm, empathetic, deeply caring and highly knowledgeable. I recommend a cancer coach, and Sheri in particular, to everyone I know going through this difficult journey – the patient,  their family and their friends. No one should go through it alone.
